Instructions

Scoop 2 tbsp. of brown sugar into a small bowl. Brown sugar is used in many skin care products as it is made with some of the world's finest oils. As if it's great taste and smell weren't enough, it also moisturizes and rejuvenates skin as it gently exfoliates and removes dead skin cells.

Add 2 tbsp. of natural honey to the bowl. Honey is a common ingredient in a variety of skin care products. Honey is known to kill germs, clean pores and reduce swelling and inflammation around the eyes. Adding honey to your face mask will help prevent wrinkles, and keep your skin healthy and beautiful.

Squeeze the juice from one half of a fresh lemon juice into the exfoliating face mask mixture and stir well. Lemon is a natural astringent and will help to balance combination skin, gently cleansing without over-drying skin. Adding lemon juice to your face mask will not only help to clear clogged pores, it will help to reduce the size of pores, preventing and curing blackheads.

I had a rough morning and wanted to do something nice for myself. I whipped up this scrub and used it. The smells calmed my brain, and it made my face feel great - I also took a hot shower and I now feel like a whole new woman!

My face tends to get very dry in the winter so I have to exfoliate at least once a week. Today I realized I was out of face scrub and I had dry patches all over my face. I came across this page and I decided to give a try. It worked wonderfully! My face is soft and glowing and it cost a fraction of the price of the expensive face scrub I used to use. I would say to use 1 tbsp of brown sugar and 1 tbsp of honey. I ended up having a lot left over. I also didn't have fresh lemon so I used the lemon juice in the bottle. It still worked fine. Thank you so much for posting this. It was easy to make, cheap, and it worked great!
