How to Cast a Prosperity Spell

The magician's creed says that what you put out into the world with your magic will come back to you threefold. What better spell to cast, if this is the case, than a prosperity spell. You can cast this spell for yourself or for a loved one, and you are sure to be blessed with good karma and prosperity. Read on to learn how to cast a prosperity spell.

Things You'll Need

• 3 cinnamon sticks
• 1 tsp. bay leaf
• 1/2 tsp. fresh basil
• 1/2 tsp. marjoram
• 1½ cup spring water
• 1 wooden spoon
• 1 jar with lid
• 1 small cloth
• 1 rubber band
• Green pen
• Small piece of paper
• Small bowl
• Matches
• Green candle
• 1/2 cup of prosperity potion

Instructions

Creating the Prosperity Potion

1. Combine the ingredients and boil them in the spring water for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon. Meditate on your desired prosperity while preparing the potion, thinking positive thoughts and blessing the potion. You may add your own technique to this process, working with crystals, cards or other magical tools.

2. Strain the ingredients from the water and pour your potion into the jar. Cover the jar with a piece of cloth, securing it with a rubber band. Place the jar and potion in a cool, dark place for three full days and three full nights. Again, add your own personal touch, placing the potion beneath your alter, in a shady tree where it can catch the moonlight, or in some other special, magic place.

3. Place the lid on the jar after you have waited three days and three nights, and the potion is ready to use. This potion will work for 14 days, beginning after the three-day period. Once the 14 days are up, return the potion the Earth, thanking both Mother Earth and the potion for its guidance, assistance and blessings.

Casting the Prosperity Spell

1. Write your full name in green ink on a small piece of paper and place the sheet, unfolded, in a small bowl.

2. Light a green candle and allow eight drops of wax to drop on the piece of paper with your name on it. Place the candle to the left side of the bowl.

3. Pour the prosperity potion drop by drop into the bowl, on top of the paper. While pouring recite three times, "Money come, money grow, come to me money flow." Thanks the Earth for it's blessings, blow out the candle and leave the bowl, candle and potion undisturbed.

4. Cast the prosperity spell for three days, re-lighting the candle and following all of the same steps each time.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are casting this spell for another person, write their name on the piece of paper. It is best if they themselves can write their name, however it is not necessary. When casting the spell, instead of saying "Me" in the chant phrase, replace me with the person's name.
