Many people today travel for work or pleasure. Joining frequent traveler programs is easy to do and saves you money. It also gives you the opportunity to earn free airfare or free or discounted hotel rooms or discounts on golf or vacation packages. If you travel at least a few times a year or more consider participating in a relevant frequent traveler program. Read on to learn how to join frequent traveler programs.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Select the frequent traveler programs that interest you.
Step2
Compare the programs. Find out what is being offered. For example, how many miles do you get with each paid airfare or how many nights do you have to stay at a hotel before you get a free room?
Step3
Choose the programs that benefit you the most. For example if you always fly on Delta but another airline offers better miles, unless you can use that airline for your travel destinations, you will be better off signing up with Delta.
Step4
Sign up to join the frequent traveler programs that you have chosen.
Step5
Provide your name, address and all other information to the company sponsoring the travel program.
Step6
Ask if the company will be sending you a card and how long it will take before you will receive the card. The company should provide a temporary member number that you can use immediately when making your reservations.
Step7
Use your new frequent traveler programs to save money and to earn free bonuses.
