Step 1
Take a virtual tour of the campus from the university's website. View dining areas, housing and other campus buildings and locales, and even "virtually" meet some current Towson University students.
-
Step 2
Check out the tour calendar on the Towson University website for dates and times of upcoming tours, and select your tour. Just fill out the tour registration form online to register. You'll receive a confirmation email of your registration.
-
Step 3
Consider attending a Towson University open house, held during the fall and the spring. During an open house, you'll attend an academic information session, go on a group tour and meet with faculty and current students. Find the schedules and registration forms on the University website.
-
Step 4
Register for a tour of the Towson University campus. Tours, led by current students, take 60 to 90 minutes and are available while classes are in session on Monday through Saturday. The tours depart from the Office of Admissions in the Enrollment Services Building on campus.
-
Step 5
Review the campus map on the Towson University website, and click on the interactive campus map online for detailed information. Print out and study a campus map to bring with you, so you'll already have a feel for the campus when you arrive.
-
Step 6
Reserve overnight accommodations that you will need during your visit to Towson University. The university's website has a listing of nearby facilities with contact information. There's also a hotel on campus, the Burkshire Marriott Conference Hotel.
-
Step 7
Plan your travels to the Towson University campus. If you are going on a tour, the Towson University website has driving directions to the Office of Admissions. In addition, you'll find directions via train and plane to the campus.
-
Step 8
Understand parking on the Towson University campus. If you have registered online for a campus tour, you will receive a parking permit in the mail. This parking permit is required to park on campus, and you must display it on your front windshield. When you arrive on campus, park in the spaces marked "Admissions Campus Tours" near the Office of Admissions.
