Cozumel, Mexico's largest Caribbean Island, offers nightlife, golf courses, spas and excellent seafood. Home to a section of the world's second largest reef system, the Great Mayan Reef, marine biologist Jacques Cousteau was drawn to the island to study the diverse marine life. If you take an all-inclusive vacation in Cozumel, you may also want to pay extra to visit Chankanaab National Park or Punta Ser Ecological Reserve. Read on to learn how to take an all-inclusive vacation in Cozumel.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get your passport if you don't have it already.

  2. Step 2

Plan your all-inclusive vacation in Cozumel early. Airfares will be cheaper, which will bring the price of the package down. If you can be flexible as to when you travel, some times of the year are also cheaper.

  3. Step 3

Research what Cozumel has to offer (see Resources). In addition to food, beverages and a hotel, some all-inclusive packages include perks such as snorkeling or other tours. Even if you can't find a package that includes everything, you can still make arrangements beforehand for these activities.

  4. Step 4

Compare prices for all-inclusive vacations in Cozumel. You can contact a travel agent or get a quote online (see Resources).

  5. Step 5

Pay for your trip. Then all you have to do is wait, which could be the most difficult part.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid hurricane season by traveling between November 1 and March 31, but be prepared to pay more for your trip because this is peak season for tourists for just that reason.
