Instructions

    • 1

Apply some aloe vera gel very carefully to the frost bitten area. If using it in plant form, mix 1 cup of fresh sap with warm water. Aloe vera has wonderful healing properties for the skin and decreases the pain.

    • 2

Place 10 tea bags into a gallon of hot water and let the tea steep for about 15 minutes. Soak the frostbitten areas in the water once the liquid has been cooled to room temperature. The tea will soothe the skin and help blood to flow to the affected area.

    • 3

Mix together 1 oz. each of olive oil, peppermint oil and ammonia. Rub this mixture on the frostbitten area.

    • 4

Measure out 1 tsp. of sage into a cup of very hot water and let sit for five minutes. Drink the tea. Sage tea helps improve blood circulation.

    • 5

Take 30c of the dietary supplement Agaricus once or twice a day to treat light cases of frostbite. If there is no improvement in the skin after 48 hours, discontinue use and see a doctor.
