How to Use a Baby Bjorn Carrier

1. Choose a style and color Baby Bjorn. These infant carriers come in an original model, as well as an extra tall version for taller moms and dads who like to carry their infants in the Bjorn. Moms who find themselves carrying their babies for long periods, or who walk with their baby in the bjorn, will appreciate the extra back support in the Baby Bjorn Active design. The newest style, Baby Bjorn Air, features a breathable mesh fabric ideal for summer weather; the air flow through the Bjorn keeps it cool for baby and mom.
2. Put your arms through the Baby Bjorn straps, making sure that the cross in the straps is at the same height as the bottom of your shoulder blades.
3. Adjust the Baby Bjorn sliding buckle to the correct length for your infant's size, as marked on the fabric.
4. Slide strap buckle clips into the Baby Bjorn front piece. Next, slide the slide latch on one side of the carrier into the corresponding slide latch groove.
5. Put your baby into the Baby Bjorn carrier, sliding his legs into the leg holes and positioning his arms in the proper place. Hold him firmly while finishing the latches.
6. Slide the remaining slide latch buckle into the other groove in the Baby Bjorn.
7. Attach the head support buckles on both sides of the Baby Bjorn. Cinch the straps to the proper length. Be sure to leave plenty of room for baby to breathe easily, with an unrestricted flow of air.
8. Pull the main Baby Bjorn straps until comfortable.
9. Snuggle with your baby as you carry him in the Baby Bjorn throughout your day.
