Install the program. Double click on the icon for the program or go to the "Start" menu and open the program.

Follow the directions for signing in as a new user. The first time you will need to register. Add your name and age during the registration. Answer all the questions and click the "Finish" button when you are done the registration.

Take the typing test by following the audio instructions. This test shows you how well you type and tells "Mavis" with what areas you need help.

Click the "Start Lesson" button to begin a lesson. Follow the instructions. Type the letters and words you see on the screen. When you make an error, the letters will appear in red lettering. At the end of the lesson, "Mavis" tells you how you did.

Use the practice lessons to upgrade your typing skills. The screen shows you the mistakes you have made and what areas you should work on to improve your typing skills.

Go the games sections to play a typing game. Listen to the rules and then type the words that you see. Your typing accuracy and speed will be given at the end of the game.
