Gund has been making soft toys for over 100 years so there are thousands of products out there. Consequently, some are worth a significant amount of money and others aren't. When it comes to selling your Gund plush toys, there are a few things to remember to bring the highest possible price.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know when your Gund plush toy was made. Gund has been making toys since 1898 so this might be a difficult task.

  2. Step 2

Look realistically at the flaws. If the toy is missing significant parts note that but also look at the minor flaws. See if there are tags missing, look at the clothes and eyes, and notice if there is stitching coming loose. Any of these issues could contribute to your Gund bringing in less money.

  3. Step 3

Have a good idea of what it's worth. Check with collectors, on selling websites or in price guides. Find what your Gund is worth in excellent condition and what it's worth in fair condition. Yours will likely bring an amount somewhere between those numbers.

  4. Step 4

Look for a buyer. Sell your Gund plush toy on selling sites like eBay or take it to a local collectible store. If you find it's not worth much, consider a garage sale or just selling to a friend.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you're interested in selling new Gund plush toys from your store visit the Gund website. Fill out the form to become a Gund retailer--you'll have to provide name, address and phone number. After you submit the form, a representative will contact you about getting Gund in your store.
  • Because of the number of Gund plush toys produced you probably won't get much money out of your toy. You'll likely get $20 to $50 depending on its age and if you're lucky you could get up to $100. Much more than that is unlikely.
