Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take instruction from a certified Pilate's trainer. This is the most important step when acquainting yourself with any Pilates equipment. In order to get the most out of the exercises done on the Fletcher Tower, you will need to make sure you have the right technique.

  2. Step 2

Get a professional to install a Pilates Fletcher Tower. They must be mounted to the ceiling and floor, and the height of the equipment can be changed due to the ceiling height in your home. You can install this piece on your own, but unless you are incredibly handy and know how to do it, it may be best to leave it to the pros.

  3. Step 3

Use the bars for basic stretching, and more advanced acrobatic moves. Beginners should always work up to more advanced moves, but trying to get there can be very rewarding. Stretches on the base mat are made easier by the lower bars, and the two bars together can give you a wider range of motion.

  4. Step 4

Adjust the bars to your height preference. The upper bar is adjustable by removing the screws on the sides of the apparatus, moving the bar, and replacing the screws. Adjusting them to your exact height will help you get the most out of acrobatic moves on the Fletcher Tower.
