PaperbackSwap.com is a favorite Internet destination of bookworms. For only the cost of mailing a book via media mail, you can trade books with readers all over the United States. Each time you mail a book, you're entitled to have a new title mailed to you. Getting your book ready to mail is easy--as long as you follow PaperbackSwap's directions. Read on to learn more.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log on to PaperBackSwap.com and follow the directions to confirm you have the requested book on hand and can mail it within two days.

  2. Step 2

Click on the button that says "Print Wrapper." Make sure your computer is loaded with paper and you have enough ink toner.

  3. Step 3

Choose the layout you plan on using to print your wrapper. If you've got clear packaging tape and don't want to waste money on a large envelope, choose the first or second option. If you'll be using an envelope, choose the third.

  4. Step 4

Use the paper wrapper and clear packaging tape to completely wrap the book. For most books, it will be easiest to place one sheet of paper vertically around the book and the other sheet horizontally so no part of the book is exposed. Make sure the label is centered and visible.

  5. Step 5

Adhere the mailing label to your envelope using the packaging tape, if you're choosing this option rather than wrapping it.

  6. Step 6

Stick on enough first class stamps to cover the price listed on the label. Or take the book to the post office and choose media mail as the type of mail service--unless the label suggests first class instead, which occasionally is cheaper for very lightweight books.

  7. Step 7

Log onto your PaperbackSwap.com account once the book has been mailed and mark that the book was sent. You should receive your credit as soon as the other reader logs on to indicate the book was received.
