Instructions

Exchange Flashlight Bulbs With LED Bulbs

  1. Step 1

Go to sites like LED Replacement. There you can find replacement LED bulbs for your flashlights.

  2. Step 2

Determine the size of the bulb for your flashlight. Match the LED bulb size with that of your flashlight.

  3. Step 3

Find out whether you require an adapter to make the LED bulb fit. Simply screw in the replacement bulb.

  4. Exchange Headlight Bulbs With LED Bulbs

  5. Step 1

Make certain you have the proper sized LED bulb for your vehicle. Check voltage requirements in your repair manual.

  6. Step 2

Do not touch the LED bulb when you remove it from the package. The oils from your skin will damage it.

  7. Step 3

Remove the 10mm bolt and nut that connects air intake near the battery with a 10 mm socket. Move the air intake out of the way.

  8. Step 4

Slip out the power cord. Press the clips on either side of the plug and gently remove it. Then, pull the tab and remove the rubber cover.

  9. Step 5

Unfasten the retainer clip, but do not take out the screw. Push on the clip opposite the screw, and swing the retainer clip open.

  10. Step 6

Take out the old bulb, and replace the new LED bulb in the same fashion, with the three electrical prongs facing in the same way.

  11. Step 7

Replace the clip and the rubber cover, then push in the power cord. Replace the air intake pipe and secure it with the 10mm socket.

  12. Exchange Conventional Bulbs With LED Bulbs

  13. Step 1

Figure out you can best use the replacement LED bulbs. They can be used for spotlighting small areas, accenting artwork and recessed lighting.

  14. Step 2

Choose the angles you wish to have for the bulbs. They come in 15 degree angles, 20 degree angles and 22 degree angles.

  15. Step 3

Decide which voltage you require. The LED bulbs can be 120 volts (AC) and more. Swap out your light bulbs as normal.
