How to Record a Teleseminar
To attend a seminar, you no longer have to travel to another state or even across town. There are now seminars called teleseminars that are as close as your computer. Recorded teleseminars are events where people call a number, usually an 800 number, and punch in a code to listen to a message. If this is something you've been interested in, perhaps the following steps will help.

Record a Teleseminar
-
1
Hire someone. If speaking makes you nervous, it would be worth the investment to hire a professional to record your teleseminar. Since your audience cannot see the speaker, the tone and quality of the voice is all they have. Hired voice talent will increase the value of your teleseminar.
-
2
Hire a professional to engineer the recording. Cutting corners will result in poor quality and perhaps even fewer attendees for future teleseminars. High-quality recording equipment operated by a qualified technician will net a professional sound.
-
3
Practice. Whether you record your own teleseminar or hire someone, the person should practice reading several times. The reading will sound more natural the more he or she has practiced.
-
4
Use a bridge line. If your interest is in only a few people hearing your recording, then professional talent and equipment isn't necessary. To use a bridge line, listeners call an 800 number and listen to a speaker. There are no editing capabilities and these are free. If you desire a higher quality with editing capability, services such as Audio Acrobat and Audio Generator charge a small monthly fee.
Set up a Bridge Line
-
1
Determine the approximate number of participants attending the teleseminar. This factor determines what type of bridge you need to choose.
-
2
Choose a bridge line. A bridge line enables several people to listen to a speaker give a speech, teach a class, hold a seminar, etc. through the medium of the phone line. It bridges participants to the speaker and to each other. If the number of participants is 15 to 30, a small bridge line is adequate, but more than 30, you'll need a larger bridge line capable of handling hundreds of participants. Use your favorite search engine to find particular companies for the type of bridge line you'll need. There are many from which to choose.
-
3
Decide if you'll need a recording. If you want to a record copy of your seminar for a personal copy or to sell, you'll want to choose a bridge line company that has recording capability. Companies that offer free service don't usually offer recording.
