1
Grow hair long and a bit shaggy, or find a wig that creates the same look as Rocky's longer dark hair. Wetting the hair or wig can be an even better fit, as it will create the sweat-dripping locks of a hard-nosed fighter.
-
2
Prepare to show some skin. Among other things, Rocky is known for being buff and showing it off. Men really wanting to pull of the look may consider shaving their chest and back, and oiling up for a super shiney look. Rocky was also dark complected; consider tanning or investing in some sunless tanning lotion.

3
Get boxing gloves. They represent the power and will of Rocky as a fighter, and they are one of the first things that come to mind when someone thinks of a boxer. Boxing gloves are a key element of the rocky costume.

4
Consider your attire. You can dress like a boxer in a number of ways. The silky boxing shorts are important to the look, as are the special, lace-up boots. The signature boxing robe is another piece of the ensemble that can make you look like a champ. If you want to create a Rocky costume that is more like Rocky in training, try running shoes, a tattered sweatshirt with cut-off sleeves and a bandana.

Add some make up. Dark under-eye hues can depict post-fight injuries. Using reds here and there can also mimic scratches.
