Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Safety glasses
  • Headphones that restrict noise
  • Table saw
  • 4 Boards, all cut the same width and approximately 10 percent longer than you want each side to be
  • Belt clamp
  • Wood glue
  • Small nails or dowels for larger frames
  1. Step 1

Choose the wood that will showcase your project best.

  2. Step 2

Procure a table saw either through purchasing or borrowing one.

  3. Step 3

Measure your project to decide how big and wide you will need to make the frame.

  4. Step 4

Put on protective eye wear and earpieces before you turn the saw on.

  5. Step 5

Cut a slot along one edge of the back of each board to form a ledge. This will hold your project.

  6. Step 6

Make 45 degree cuts on each of the boards so that when you put the frame together it makes a square or rectangle. Be sure to mark each board before you cut so you know where to begin.

  7. Step 7

Put the pieces together into the frame shape before you attach them. This way you can be sure that it works and they align correctly.

  8. Step 8

Use your belt clamp to get the corners to line up together perfectly.

  9. Step 9

Glue the pieces together. Allow the glue to dry.

  10. Step 10

Stain the frame to get it the color you choose.

  11. Step 11

    Hang and enjoy.
