The annual Army-Navy football game is a long-standing tradition for bragging rights between the military academies. Though the game rarely has national significance in the college football scene, it has immense importance for people with ties to either branch of the military. You don't have to go to the game to enjoy an Army-Navy football game; you can have a great time at home with friends, rooting for your team.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Make sure you will get the game. This game usually is on some type of special programming package. The game's time and broadcast station will be announced about two weeks before the game.
Step2
Invite your friends. Tell your friends that you'll be watching the game. Some people like fans of both sides at parties while others want only those fans loyal to one side. Invite carefully.
Step3
Bring out the chairs. Games sometimes invite sitting and sometimes standing. Have couches and other comfy seats available and also provide folding chairs or others that are easily removed if needed. Just make sure everyone will be able to see the television with your set up.
Step4
Plan for finger foods. Hot wings, chips and maybe some veggies for those health-conscious friends are perfect foods for watching the game. Because fans have emotional ties to this game, food should be available, but is an afterthought.
Step5
Have alcohol on hand or declare BYOB. Most people watch football with a beer or two and the Army-Navy football game is no exception. Let your invitees know whether you're providing the liquid refreshments or if they should bring their own. Be sure to secure enough ice and coolers to keep everyone's drinks cold.
