How to remove candle wax

Candle wax spills is a problem most candle lovers face. Here are a few tips on removing the wax from various surfaces successfully spending little if any money!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brown paper bag
  • Flat hot iron
  • Razor blade
  • Windex
  1. Step 1

    Melted wax on the carpet is one of the worst places to remove wax from, to remove: Heat flat iron to cotton setting.

  2. Step 2

    While the iron heats up take a brown paper bag and place over the wax.

  3. Step 3

    Using heated iron gently rub the iron over the paper bag and wax. The melted wax will stick to the paper bag. Remove bag and iron when all wax is gone.

  4. Step 4

    Foe those wax spills that are on other non porous surfaces use a razor blade to scrape off surface. If the wax is old use Windex on the wax and then continue with the razor blade until wax is gone.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be persistent
  • Iron will be hot
  • Move blade over wax in a direction away from your body.
