Choosing what type of water to drink might not matter to many people, but if bottled water is first choice, many people may not be getting enough fluoride. Fluoride isn't just for children, research shows that everyone can benefit from fluoride. In years past, many used to think that fluoride was mainly for helping the teeth to develop strong and healthy, but studies are now showing fluoride that comes in toothpastes and mouth rinses will help fight tooth decay at any age.

So when you are thinking of the water you drink, think of the bottled water of your choice. Does it have fluoride?. The FDA has approved for bottling companies to make claim about the fluoride in their bottled water and how it can slow the risk of tooth decay. Check the label of your bottle of water to see if it contains fluoride. If you find your first choice of drink doesn't contain fluoride, here are steps in getting additional fluoride.
