Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Shutterfly
  • Photos on some kind of digital device such as CD, digital camera or memory card
  1. Step 1

Log on to the Shutterfly website. If you already have an account, log in. If not, create one. Enter your name, address and user preferences.

  2. Step 2

Plug your media into your computer. If your photos are on a CD, place it in your CD drive. If they are still on your camera, you'll need to connect the USB plug into your camera, and then into your computer. Your photos may be on a media card. If so, remove it from your camera and insert it into the appropriate drive on your computer.

  3. Step 3

Look at the Shutterfly interface. Press "Upload now." A window should pop up; one of the options is "Browse." Browsing lets you search your computer for the pictures you want to add to Shutterfly. Look for your photos on the drive that corresponds to the media you are using. For example, CDs often are in the "D:" drive. Some media cards are located in the "F:" drive.

  4. Step 4

Choose the photo(s) you want to upload. If you'd like to upload more than one, you can choose multiple photos by holding down the "CTRL" button.

  5. Step 5

Highlight all of your selected photos and click "upload." Your selected photos are now in your Shutterfly account. You may now choose from Shutterfly's other services, such as purchasing or sharing.
