How to Get a Unique Mount in WoW

Obtaining a special mount in World of Warcraft gives more than just the satisfaction of having something few have. A special mount gives a player an impressive status symbol and a fast way to get around. Read on to discover the many ways to obtain your special Warcraft mount.

Instructions

1. Participate in one of Warcraft's yearly events. Festivals like Brewfest, which occurs annually in October, offer the chance to get special mounts reserved for a dedicated few. Beware, most of these events require hours or grinding and questing to obtain your special mount.

2. Attain an exalted reputation with the Wintersaber Trainers. It must be noted that this is an alliance only faction, so horde will not be able to obtain this special mount. The Wintersaber Trainers are two NPC's found in Winterspring. These trainers give quests and grindable objectives which allow you to gain reputation. Once you reach exalted, the Winterspring Frostsaber will become available for purchase.

3. Play the Warcraft card game. The starter and singles packs that come in the Warcraft booster pack contain a code to enter online and obtain your special mount. Players can get a turtle or spectral tiger for their riding pleasure.

4. Start on a new server. New servers give you access to a special Warcraft mount called a Qiraji battle tank during the opening of Ahn'Qiraj. This mount can be obtained only from using an item to ring a gong within a ten hour period after the first person rings it. In addition, you must complete a lengthy series of quests to obtain the item and ring the gong. This event only happens once on each server, which is why you must transfer to a new server to be eligible for this mount.

5. Farm an instance. A few instances have bosses that can drop special, very rare mounts. Stratholme, an old, seldom played dungeon, gives access to Baron Rivendare's Deathcharger, which drops from baron Rivendare himself. A Swift Zulian Tiger is also available from a boss in Zul'Gurub. Nightbane, an incredibly rare horse, drops from Attumen the Huntsman in Karazhan.
