How to Add Music to a DVD Menu in Nero Vision
Nero Vision is a handy program that lets you make DVDs out of your home movies and video clips. It offers a wide range of features, but one of the coolest is its menu-making ability. You can add pictures and fun backgrounds to your DVD menus, and you can even add music, which gives your disc a professional touch.

Open Nero Vision.

Select "Make a DVD..." from the main menu, then click on "DVD Video."

Add video files to your project from an existing clips or a live source, then click "Next."

Click on the "Edit Menu" button beneath the menu preview area.

Look at the menu editing tabs on the right of the screen and find the one labeled "Background." Mouse over it, then click on the icon showing a folder and a magnifying glass next to the Audio File field.

Find the file you want to add and click "Open."

Press the play button next to the Audio File field to make sure the file is the one you want playing in the background.

Go to the Preview screen by clicking "Next." Navigate through the different menus and video files to make sure that they each have the desired effect.

Tips & Warnings
The menu Nero creates will play the whole file through. If you want to repeat a short clip of the file, you'll need to snip it down using an audio editing program.
