Things You'll Need:
- Button Men game buttons
- Button Men dice

Step 1
Select a fighter from among the buttons in the game. These buttons can be pinned onto your clothing as you play.

Collect the dice necessary for the particular fighter button you have selected. You will need your Basic Dice, Swing Dice, Option Dice and Twin Dice for your fighter.

Keep the same fighter throughout the game.

Step 1
Determine which player goes first by having both players roll all of their dice. The player who has rolled the lowest number on any single die is the first player. If there is a tie, the players roll again until a winner is determined.

Step 2
Choose the attack you wish to make when it becomes your turn. Perform a Power Attack by using one die from any of your dice except a Shadow die. With this attack you can capture one target die from your opponent by having the number on your die greater than or equal to the number of the die you capture.

Perform a Skill Attack by rolling several dice to capture a die from your opponent that is worth exactly the sum of the dice you roll. Re-roll any die that you have captured after you capture it with a Power Attack or with a Skill Attack.

Step 4
Pass if you cannot make a legal attack. You cannot pass if you can make a play. When all players pass the round is over and the scores are calculated.

Step 5
Score the size of all your captured dice. In other words, an 8-sided die is worth 8 points and so forth. Score half the size of each of your original dice that you managed to keep during the game.

Win the round if you have the highest score in the round. Win the game of Button Men Dice when you win three rounds in the game.
