Things You'll Need:

  • Scrapbooking album
  • Scrapbooking paper
  • Recipes
  • Card stock or recipe cards
  • Scrapbooking pens
  • Pictures
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments
  1. Step 1

Pick out scrapbooking papers that would make good backgrounds for your recipes. Choose either a color theme you would like to use or choose all different types of colors of paper that you like.

  2. Step 2

Choose recipes that you and your family enjoy or recipes that were handed down to you from older generations in your family. Choose the recipes that you cherish the most and want to capture the memories of forever.

  3. Step 3

Copy the recipes onto card stock or recipe cards by hand or print them out in a handwritten font on your computer printer.

  4. Step 4

Give a title to each scrapbook page and use your journaling pen or stencils to add the title to the page.

  5. Step 5

Add pictures to your scrapbook page that help stir memories and emotions relevant to the recipes. You can include pictures of loved ones who have passed down the recipes or include pictures of you and your family cooking in the kitchen.

  6. Step 6

Journal the memories you have of the people who passed down the recipes or of the time you spent making the recipes with love. Adorn both the pictures and the recipes with your special memories that you wish to keep and share with others.

  7. Step 7

Include embellishments into your scrapbook of recipes such as ingredient lists, food labels, stickers and rub-ons.
