Tattletales was a game show hosted by Bert Convy in the 1970s in which three celebrity couples played four rounds to guess answers given by their spouses, similar to The Newlywed Game. You can play this entertaining game show at home or on a stage in front of an audience at married events such as church activities. The following will show you how to play Tattletales.

Instructions

    • 1

Start by choosing three couples to play the game. You must also have a "host" of the game to ask the couples questions.

    • 2

Develop some funny multiple choice questions to ask the spouses. Have enough questions to play four rounds of the game (four questions).

    • 3

Tell the three men go in a room where they cannot hear their wives' answers to the questions. Ask the wives the first question and have them choose their answer one at a time.

    • 4

Bring the husbands back into the room and ask them the same question that was posed to the wives. Each husband will then take a guess at what their wives have said in response.

    • 5

Give the couple 150 points if they are the only couple to match their answers. Give each couple 75 points if two get the answers correct and give each couple 50 points if all three matched their answers.

    • 6

Play another round in the same manner, then switch roles, having the wives leave the room while the husbands answer. Play two rounds in this manner for a total of four rounds.

    • 7

Add up the scores as you go. The final round is worth double the normal points. Announce the winning couple at the end of the game, which will be the couple with the most points at game's end.
