Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Have a reason to join. Whether you make something that can benefit from wireless communication or whether your company wants to influence the future of wireless communication, sign up. Whether you are looking to determine the future or to research the future of wireless communication, sign up.

  2. Step 2

Visit ZigBee Alliance's website. Choose "Become a member" from the left side bar menu. Select "membership forms." Then follow the directions in the following steps.

  3. Step 3

Read the ZigBee Alliance's Article of Incorporation and Bylaws. This can be done through the ZigBee website or by filing out a "membership request form."

  4. Step 4

Complete the Adopter Agreement and Registration Form. The Adopter Agreement spells out the terms of your company's relationship with ZigBee. It describes who they are and why they need you, what fees are required of your company, and the confidentiality agreement between the two parties. Have all company contact info available to fill out the registration form. Check the box indicating which membership level you want to join at and how you are paying for the membership. Sign and date all documents.

  5. Step 5

Fax and mail the forms to ZigBee Alliance. First, fax the completed forms to ZigBee Member Services at 1.925.886.3850. Next mail the originals to The ZigBee Alliance, Attention: Member Services, 2400 Camino Ramon, Suite 375, San Ramon, CA 94583.
