How to Become a World of Outlaws Race Official

World of Outlaws racing was founded in 1978 and features racing with winged sprint cars around a dirt track. The racing series includes 85 events and is one of the most punishing of the motor sports. If this sport is something you enjoy, then becoming a racing official for the World of Outlaws series may be the job for you. Follow these steps to become a World of Outlaws Race Official.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log on to worldracinggroup.com. Click on "Corporate." This will take you to the website of Dirt Motor Sports where you can select "Careers."

  2. Step 2

    Select "Track Operations" to apply for the race official position. If it is not available you will not be able to select it. In this situation you can select "Apply for Future Notification Only" and you will be informed when the position becomes available.

  3. Step 3

    Read over the requirements for the racing official job. The position may require relocation to the World of Outlaw's corporate headquarters.

  4. Step 4

    Continue applying for a job with World of Outlaws by clicking on the link "Apply for This Position." You will have to register an account on their job board by choosing a username and password.

  5. Step 5

    Apply for the race official position with World of Outlaws by posting your application to the job board. It will be reviewed by the hiring manager.

  6. Step 6

    Upload your resume as the final step in the process. When finished with the application, click "Edit Your Information" to verify everything is correct.

  7. Step 7

    Click "Submit" to send your application and resume to World of Outlaws racing.
