Canoe polo is a sport that has grown tremendously in the past few years. This game is much like basketball on water. The game is made up of 2 teams of five in small canoes trying to throw a ball into a suspended net. It is a contact sport, and players are required to wear protective equipment. The growth of the sport has prompted individuals to start canoe polo clubs. Here is how you can join.

Step 1

Sign on to the Canoe Polo Clubs Contact Page. You will be brought to a page that has a grid with the letters A to Z on it.
Step 2

Click the appropriate letter, if you know the name of the club you would like to join. There are clubs for men, women, and teenagers and competitions for the same groups.
Step 3

Scroll down the list of club names until you find one that is near your geographic location. Click on the link corresponding to that club. Each club link will tell the reader where the club is located, practice times, game schedules, and a way to get in contact with the club regarding membership.
Step 4

Contact the club you are interested in joining by email or phone. Keep in mind you may be required to pay a club fee. Also, very few canoe polo clubs exist in the United States at this time. The sport is steadily growing and, because of this, so will the clubs around the world.
