Purchase tickets to visit Kensington Palace. They can be purchased at the door. You will be given a audio speaker that you can listen to, rather than having a tour guide. It's better because you can tour the castle at your own pace and listen to the audio as often as you like.

Visit the State apartments. Although some of the palace is off limits to the public, the state apartments are open to all. You will find fine art and artifacts from the Royal Collection displayed here.

Take in the beauty of the gardens. There is a lot of history in this garden. See the sunken garden and lily pond that Edward VII designed in 1907. You can also visit the Diana Memorial Playground. Parking is not allowed at Kensington Palacee. Take the tube; the castle is a short walk from the tube.
