Very much to the contrary, a Youth Crime Watch program is very inexpensive to start and is what we like to call "cost effective crime prevention".. Is it demanding to start? How demanding is it to be a victim of a violent crime? How demanding is it to not have a say in how to make your school and or community safe? And of course I can go on and on..As a matter of fact, I personal assist in starting programs every day for $0.00 (zero) dollars.. and then watching them run with budgets small than taking a family of 4 out to dinner in the US for the evening. Certainly if one has the funds to initially purchase program start-up kits that run for less than $100 each but that contain hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of information, video's and CD's, then it is appreciated and encouraged, but if not no person (s) are not going to be inhibited from having a program due to the lack of funds.
