Jewelery is not just restricted to your neck, wrists, fingers or ears anymore. Rap and hip-hop moguls are sporting a mouthful of bling. Grillz are metal pieces that fit over your teeth. They're usually made of brass, then covered with gold, platinum or rhodium. For an extra pimped-out look, grillz can be encrusted with jewels.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide how much money you want to spend. Grillz can range from $20 to thousands of dollars, depending on the quality and style.

  2. Step 2

Get a preliminary idea of what you're looking for. Grillz are as unique as you are. Decide what kind matches your personality and your wardrobe--gold, silver, gemstone or diamond encrusted. Also decide if you want to wear it over your top teeth, bottom teeth or both.

  3. Step 3

Choose between a one-size-fits-all grillz or a custom one. For the best fit, there's a process of molding and casting your teeth.

  4. Step 4

Consider an "instant grillz." Some companies use a piece of silicon to mold to your mouth. Instructions are included. All it takes it hot water.

  5. Step 5

Find a dealer. If you know someone with grillz, ask where they got it. Also, ask at your local hip hop clothing store or search on-line.

  6. Step 6

Put in your order. If you're getting custom built grillz, prepare to wait a few weeks for it to arrive.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do your research.
  • Buy from a reputable dealer.
  • If you want the look of diamonds for less, consider Austrian crystals or cubic zirconia instead.
  • Verify the return and exchange policy before you order, in case the grillz doesn't fit.
