Web clip software is a program to download onto your computer. It stores text and graphics automatically or manually and categorizes them. Web clip software just requires you to press "Ctrl+C" to copy the information you want from the Internet and stores it in the categories you set up. To paste it into another application you can use hot keys or "Ctrl+V." Learn different ways to use web clip software below.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use web clip software to store text clips from other applications. You can later read these clips or paste them into another application.

  2. Step 2

Create a database of graphics in any format. You can look at these later or import them into an image editing program such as Photoshop.

  3. Step 3

Store text clips that you find when you surf the Internet. This will record the web address allowing you to log on to the site quickly at another time.

  4. Step 4

Jot down your thoughts quickly using the web clip software. You can then bring them up at another time and add them to your document when and where they're needed.

  5. Step 5

Sort your image and text clips into categories and subcategories. You can program the web clip software to do this for you automatically after clipping.

  6. Step 6

Press hot keys to perform a quick paste of a clip into an application. This works well if you repeat this copy and paste often.
