Summer months can be exciting, but they can also be too hot to celebrate a child's birthday party outdoors unless water is involved. Creating a water park theme party for children is definitely a good way to cool off and to rejoice with someone who's celebrating a birthday. Entertaining kids at a water park theme party can be a good reason for having an old-fashioned balloon fight.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Create a list of all the items necessary to entertain kids at a water park theme party. Include items such as a baby pool with slide, slip and slide, water balloons, sprinklers and bath toys.
Step2
Decorate the backyard as creatively as possible. To entertain kids at a water park theme party, you may decide to have several stations available with adults supervising each station that the children can visit. Make signs for each station that resemble signs that you would see at a water park with rules.
Step3
Put up an ice cream stand in the backyard as well where the children can come and order various treats and water.
Step4
Set up an area for the children to lie out to dry just as you would see at the water park. Set up a radio by the towels and lounge chairs.
Step5
Send the children home with goody bags that are symbolic of the water park theme party. You can purchase fun towels at a discount shop for the children to remember the experience as well.
