Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Give yourself a pedicure at least once a week. For less than $10, you can buy a battery-operated system on eBay that removes calluses for you.
Step2
Get a professional pedicure. Depending on where you live, prices will range from $20 to $50, but you can't beat a pedicure if you want to totally indulge your tootsies.
Step3
Maintain a regular foot care regime at home. In addition to a weekly pedicure, make sure you wash your feet every night before bedtime, smoothing out any calluses with a pumice stone and slathering on plenty of lotion. Once done, cover your feet with socks for an intensive and inexpensive overnight moisturizing.
Step4
Make your own natural foot smoothing products. One quick and easy mixture capable of taking care of all the rough spots is 1 tbsp. rosehip seed oil and 2 drops clove oil. Shake together and store in a pretty glass container with a lid, shaking before each use. Rub on feet, elbows, knees and any other dry spots twice a day.
Step5
Trade foot massages with someone you love. A homemade IOU labeled, "Good for one foot massage and pedicure" would make a neat Valentine's Day gift or stocking stuffer for the holidays. Learn proper foot massage technique prior to giving the massage, but add your own personal touches as you go along.
