How to Use Eudora Email for Business

Since Qualcomm released Eudora to the open-source community it has become a valuable, secure, free tool for business owners. As one of the most stable and dependable mail server programs available Eudora can be very useful for tracking and deleting spam and keeping track of emails sent from your computer with very powerful security devices built in. Here's how you can get started using Eudora email in your business.

Things You'll Need:

  • Eudora
  • POP or mail server address
  • SMTP or outgoing mail server address
  • Email login name
  • Email address
  1. Step 1

    Download and install the newest version of Eudora at the Mozilla Wiki, it is listed under the heading of Penelope.

  2. Step 2

    Start up Eudora after it is installed then go to the "Tools" task bar, click on "Options" menu and choose "Getting Started."

  3. Step 3

    Type your name or your companies name as you would like it to appear in the heading of your outgoing emails in the "Real Name" field.

  4. Step 4

    Enter your return email address, your ISP's POP server address, your login name and your ISP's SMTP server address.

  5. Step 5

    Leave a check in the "Allow Authentication" field. If there is no check in the box click on it until you see a check.

  6. Step 6

    Click "OK," you are now all set to use Eudora to send and receive emails for your business.
