Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get involved with skateboarding, if you are not already. Visit skate parks and become more involved with the individuals who skate there often. These are your contacts to finding a vert club.

  2. Step 2

Ask other skateboarders about a vert club. Question your fellow skateboarders about when and where the club meets, and if there are any membership requirements or fees.

  3. Step 3

Find out what you have to do to become a member. Find out who the club president is and ask him any other questions about the club. Find out how old you have to be to join the club, will you have to compete in skateboarding competitions, will you have to pay fees once a month, etc. These are very important questions to have answered prior to attending your first meeting.

  4. Step 4

Go to your first vert club meeting. Decide if you like this club and the members of it. You will not have to pay for a membership your first meeting. However, after attending your second meeting you will want to decide if you desire to be a member of this club. If so, you will need to fill out a membership form and pay your dues.
