Reading is a leisurely pastime that most everyone enjoys. Bringing a book along with you on a long car, plane or train ride can really make the time go by faster. Authors can take the reader into worlds far beyond their imagination or inform the reader of a true event. From start to finish, making a book is overall a creative experience for everyone involved. Read on to learn how to write a book.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Brainstorm an idea or concept. Think about who will be involved in your story. Think of characters, plot, setting, and point of view. All have to be well thought out for the reader to understand.
Step2
Write until you can't write anymore. Then after your finish writing, proofread, correct and re-write.
Step3
Purchase heavyweight paper to print your final draft. Make sure you have set the margins to your liking so the body of text prints centered on the page.
Step4
Send your finished manuscript to an office supply store where they can bind the book for you or you can send your manuscript to a publishing house to see if they would bind the final product for you.
Step5
Manually bind your manuscript by stapling, taping, or threading the left margin or placing in a large binder. An office supply store can do a plastic spiral binding for you.
Step6
Cover your book with a hard cover you can purchase through book binding companies or if you had a publishing house bind your book, most likely they will have a cover for you to purchase.
