- Juicer
- One or more onions
- Milk

Use onions that do not have spots or bruises. Ideal onions have dry and papery outer layers.

Make your own onion juice by boiling and steaming fresh onions. Get all of the juice by squeezing the onions after boiling or steaming.

Cut up onions and squeeze out the juice with a clean towel. This method is a good alternative to juicing, boiling or steaming.

Mix onion juice with other vegetables. When juicing, insert the onion before adding the other vegetables to reduce the onion smell in your juicer.

Take 1 tsp. of onion juice at bedtime. It can be mixed with milk or honey, and it will help you sleep in addition to improving your cholesterol count.
