How to Iron a Shirt

Well! Ironing shirts can be a job which every housewife has to do for her man. For if your man or son is an office worker he needs plenty of neatly ironed shirts to make an impression in the office while working with customers or other co-workers. Here is a method I have used for years seeing I had three sons and three husbands in my life-time!!!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

• 1. You will need a good ironing board and a real good ironing pad one that does not slide off.
• 2. A steam iron
• 3. And plenty of elbow room to iron

1. First set up your ironing board and make sure the pad is in place because it is annoying when they slide while ironing your shirts.
2. You will need a good steam iron to get a wrinkle-free shirt to please your husband or son and his boss at work and to give a good impression to others in his office.
3. Place shirt over ironing board with collar to the left of you.
   
   Iron left front first, then back of shirt and right side of shirt and continue by ironing sleeves and last but not least the collar. Make sure all wrinkles are removed to give your shirt its best look for your man or son.
4. Hang your newly ironed shirt on a cloth or plastic hanger to be worn when needed. You will be proud you did a good job at ironing that shirt.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure the shirts you iron are free of wrinkles, clean and stain-free.
• Be careful while ironing so as not to burn yourself or others, for a hot iron can make a serious burn also watch for worn cords and hanging wires that you don't trip over them if the phone rings.
