Grilled Cheese is a classic favorite that is easy to make.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bread
  • butter
  • cheese
  • hot sauce
  • microwave
  • George Foreman Grill
  • knife
  1. Step 1

Take two slices of bread (I ususally do the healthy thing and use whole wheat or multigrain bread) out of the freezer. If you cannot pull two slices apart put the slices that did break apart in the microwave for 10-30 seconds.

  2. Step 2

Plug in the George Foreman Grill. It takes a few minutes to heat up, but by the time the sandwich is ready for grilling, the Grill should be ready to go.

  3. Step 3

Take out the cheese, and margerin or butter from the refrigerator. On both slices of bread, spread a generous portion of the margerin or butter on them. When finished, take the cheese (any cheese you like) and put a couple slices on both slices of bread. (I like my sandwiches big so I put two slices of cheese per slice of bread.)

  4. Step 4

When your sandwich is to your liking, open the George Foreman Grill and place the sandwich inside. The Grill takes 4 to 5 minutes to cook the sandwich.

  5. Step 5

The Grill toasts the sandwich leaving nice grill marks on the finished product. When it reaches this point, open the Grill, take the sandwich off the Grill, and put it on a dish.

  6. Step 6

From your spice cabinet, take out the hot sauce. (I use McIlhenny Co. Tobasco Brand Pepper Sauce.) Shake the bottle well. Open the sandwich and put as much hot sauce as you can tolerate. Close up the sandwich and enjoy. Bon appetit.

on 9/8/2009 Thank you! For years I have been putting the cheese on the outside of the bread slices. This made all the difference.
