Tarnished silver can be quite a headache.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • toothpaste (flouride)
  • old toothbrush (soft)
  • paper towels/ soft cloth
Step1
A small ribbon of flouride toothpast is an excellent tarnish remover! Use regular fouride toothpaste and a little water to clean tarnished sterling silver pieces.
Step2
Tarnished piece is covered with toothpaste and carefully buffed. If the silver piece is especially detailed, use a soft toothbrush to clean.
Step3
After only a few minutes, silver candlestick on the right is bright and shiny once again! Rinse and dry to reveal renewed finish!
