Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Petroleum jelly.
  • Soft cloths.
  1. Step 1

Begin by using a moist, soft cloth to wipe off any dirt or dust adhering to the patent leather item. Allow item to dry completely.

Next take a dry, soft cloth and dab in petroleum jelly. Do not use too much. Just a touch will do.

  3. Step 3

Rub gently over the entire item, let stand for five minutes and then buff to a high sheen.

Petroleum jelly will not only keep your patent leather looking shiny like new but it also helps prevents the leather from drying out and cracking.
