You may wonder from time to time how you can improve your life and feel that your life has purpose. Well, you can become a better person and know that you have done your all to live a good life!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Positive attitude
  • Winning Smile
  • Encouraging words
  • Patience
  • Forgiveness

Getting Better

Step1
Realize that life is short, and acknowledge that only you are responsible for the way you live and the attitude you have.
Step2
Seek to become a friend to someone who may be otherwise friendless. Develop deeper relationships with people of all ethnicities and backgrounds. See faults in others and yourself as lessons instead of hindrances. Work toward understanding what makes you happy, angry, etc.
Step3
Volunteer at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen. Become a tutor. The more you give of yourself, the more meaning you add to your life.
Step4
Encourage others on a daily basis. A lot of what you say to others will begin to sink into your own subconscious mind. Go easy on yourself. Everyone makes mistakes, and it is only through learning from them that you can grow and move on. Most of all, smile as much as possible! it truly is contagious.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep a positive outlook on life.
  • Stay away from negative people.
  • Encourage yourself and others daily.
  • Forgive easily.
  • Don't hold grudges, harbor resentments, throw pity parties, or live in the past.
