Magazines, we enjoy reading them and when we are finished with them we add them to a stack of magazines that we have already read. Some of us throw them away as we finish reading them. Hear are a few ideas on what to do with them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Magazines that you have already read.
Step1
Relax and read. WE sit, relax and read magazines and when we are finished reading it we put it in a pile with the other ones we have finished and before we know it we have a pretty good size pile of magazines that we don't know what to do with.
Step2
Don't throw away your magazines. So one day we want them out of our way so we toss them in the trash. Well if we have to pay for your garbage service we know how expensive it can be.
Step3
Let someone else use those old magazines. There are a lot of places you can give them to, like convalescent homes, homes or schools for the developmentally disabled adults, and also some elementary schools use them for projects for the children.
Step4
Save magazines in boxes. Another thing we can do with them is save them. Have a box someplace out of the way(a real sturdy box, because magazines can get heavy), and whenever you finish a magazine put it in the box, when the box is full, tape it closed and put it in your attic or basement. Maybe your grandkids will find them interesting one day.
Step5
Scrapbook or photo album. You can also cut out pictures or certain articles out of the magazines and place them in an album or scrapbook and save it for your grandchildren. It might be pretty interesting to them how things have changed, like clothing, furniture, jewelry or whatever else that might be interesting to see how they have changed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Books that you are finished with can be useful to others too.
  • You shouldn't donate certain magazines, like Play boy and similar ones.

on 6/9/2008 I like to swap magazines with my neighbors. That way we all get to subscribe to fewer magazines, but still get to read quite a few.
