Step 1
Let us start first with the physical realm. You need to see what you need and make adjustments
1. Set a mood in your room, at home or wherever you are. Aromatherapy oils like ylang-ylang, rose and chmomile are wonderful anti-depressants.
2. Chose hues that are bright and pleasing to the sight such as white, light orange, pink, green. You can wear shirts with an uplifting color, color in your rooms should also be a happy color.
3. Music should be too loud and noisy. Choose calming and soothing music that does not make you despair. Do not also choose a music that is very slow and its lyrics is about loving and loosing.
4. Walk in a beach and a garden, Touch trees, embrace them, sit beside a quiet stream or a fountain that is flowing- positive energy from them will help.
5. Embrace and hug a loved one
6. Go for a vacation
7. Do not overeat and do not starve yourself to death. Eat healthy food, fruits and vegetables. Try organic. -
Step 2
Emotional anti-depressant:
1. Talk to someone you trust. Open up yourself to others.
2. Join volunteer groups and non-profit organizations, make use of your time helping others. Its a very good therapy instead of wallowing up with your problems, think about helping others.
3. Read an inspiring book or a story
4. Write your blessings: you woke up alive this morning, you are breathing and you don't need a breathing apparatus to keep you breathing.
5. Write to your journal
6. Have a positive attitude and outlook
