Major seven chords are a movable, gently rich sounding chord, used when the intention is a romantic sound.

Things You'll Need:

  • Guitar
  1. Step 1

    Place the index finger over all the strings in the first position, just behind the first fret.

  2. Step 2

    Place the third finger on the third string third fret.

  3. Step 3

    Place the second finger on the second fret of the fourth string

  4. Step 4

    Place the fourth finger on the third fret of the fifth string.

  5. Step 5

    Strum this chord gently for a full, rich, romantic sound. This chord is movable, and each name of the chord is defined by the index finger on the 1st string.
