Step 1
Eligibility Requirements to Apply for Licensure for Massage Therapy in the Philippines:
1. Filipino citizens (irregardless of gender and marital status)
2. No less than 21 and no more than 60 years old
3. Good moral character certificate and mentally fit
4. With medical certificate issued by a government physician.
5. With an NBI certificate or police clearance
6. With a certificate of training or trainer certifying that he/she has receieved basic instructions in:Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Parasitoloty, Virology, Bacteriology; Ethics and Jurisprudence; Hygiene and Sanitation
7. With a practical massage certificate from any Licensed Masseur prescribe with definite number of hours (100 hours, hopefully this is still current)
8. with a certificate of seminar on STD including AIDS. -
Step 2
File your requirements together with the prescribed fee and application form at the Department of Health, Sta. Cruz Manila

Review, review, review for the written examination.

Be prepared for the Orald Examination (should you pass the theoretical or written exam)

Pray Hard and Seek help, if you need one.

on 4/17/2008 For those who will be taking a licensure exam study cover to cover what you have reviewed, practice the accredited type of massage well, have body relaxation thru massage before the exam, don't panic, always prepared things before the exam especially the practical exam. Ask some tips others.
