Create a list of people for whom you will be shopping. You can create a spreadsheet or simply write it down on a sheet of paper. Don't forget to include people such as the postal delivery person, your babysitter or your child's teacher.

Shop either online or in stores. If you shop online, be sure to check for coupons or free shipping deals that are often offered to entice holiday shoppers. Simply search on the term "coupon" and the store or item name. Similarly, search on "free shipping" and the vendor to find savings. If you prefer to shop in stores, make sure you check the papers and circulars for savings passes and special early morning deals.

Track the purchases you have made against your list. This way you can remember who is receiving what as you wrap the gifts.
