How to Make Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

When you taste this bread pudding you won't want to stop since it is so good. Just make sure when to make it the next time you safe more rooms for this pudding. Have fun making it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 4-6 cups heavy bread, cubed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 cups scalded milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • mixing bowl
  • casserole dish
Step1
Scald milk and cold slightly. Mix eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread cubes. Mix in raisins and nuts.
Step2
Place all in an ovenproof, greased casserole. Set casserole in a pan of hot water.
Step3
Bake at 350 degree for 45-50 minutes. Serve with a small amount of pancake syrup.
