How to Camouflage a Rosacea Outbreak

Step1
Wash your face with a mild cleanser and rinse with lukewarm water. Hot water can aggravate your skin and make a flare-up worse.
Step2
Apply a light moisturizer and allow to dry thoroughly.
Step3
Apply a very thin layer of concealer or green-tinted lotion on areas that are red. Green will neutralize the red, but do not over apply. It will look caked and unnatural.
Step4
Apply foundation as you normally do. Be sure to smooth the foundation over the concealer to make sure it looks natural.

Tips & Warnings

  • Stay away from rosacea triggers like alcohol, harsh cleansers, spicy food and overexertion.
