Sangria
Sangria

Sangria is a Spanish Punch-like drink, with a beautiful combination of wine and citrus.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Fresh Oranges
  • 1 Fresh Lemon
  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • Ice
  • 1 Bottle of Merlot
  • 3 Shots of Triple Sec
  • Pitcher
  1. Step 1

Wash off the Oranges and Lemon.

  2. Step 2

Slice them so that the stem is on either the left or the right side of the knife.

  3. Step 3

    Put them into the pitcher.

  4. Step 4

Add one cup of sugar to the pitcher.

  5. Step 5

Lightly mash the sugar into the lemons and oranges with a wooden spoon. Don't mash it too much, just enough to get the citrus fruit to start making it's own juice.

  6. Step 6

Add about 4 shots of Triple Sec.

  7. Step 7

    Add one bottle of Merlot.

  8. Step 8

Juice the other orange and pour the juice into the pitcher. Cut it in half and juice each half.

  9. Step 9

Mix it all together, and put it in the fridge! Once it's cold enough for you, add ice to keep it cool and serve! It's so delicious!

Tips & Warnings
  • If the Sangria tastes too strong of alcohol, cut down on the triple sec. You should be expecting that anyway, but if it's too strong for you, try putting only 2 shots of triple sec in the pitcher.
  • Don't drink it all at once! I know it's awesomely great tasting, but take it easy there!
